He is a warm and charming presenter, personally greeting each of the attendees, later as he was introduced to us we found out he is from a funeral service family and is a licensed funeral director and embalmer.

He spoke to how quietly we serve the community, and to how we could use training to communicate our tenderness to the community.

He can show you proper facial expression for the television interview.

In most television interviews most viewers will not remember your name, they will remember your organization they will probably forget what you said but the viewer will make a decision if they liked you or not.

Give all the opposing information you can, become the prime source for all sides of the situation

When the media shows up make them feel comfortable, make sure you introduce yourself to everyone including the camera person.

Next get the subject so you know what to talk about

Next speak to the camera person ask him or her where should you do the interview and do they need any b roll shot (one of a casket, or other camera views)

Next get your staff and rehearse with your staff in case they are interviewed as well you will also get some good ideas on how to talk more about the subject.

Try to answer the primary question in four seconds and end your statement with the interviewers first name.

One Funeral Director had his funeral home burn to the ground with four bodies in it, the funeral director went to each of the families involved to find out what they could do to make this right, the media was content with what the funeral home had done contacting the families and concluded the interview with "We are going to do everything we can to make sure this can never happen again"

Before you go on camera ( out of site ) open your mouth as wide as you can a few times this stretches your face muscles and softens the look of your face and you naturally speak more clearly.

He has a video and audio cassette package to help you learn how to be positively effective with the media, also he will come to your company or state association with a six hour course on how to present yourself to the media.
